At just under 2 lbs, Meg may look like nothing more than a pocket pet, but this tiny tot can actually be feisty and fun too. 14 week old Meg loves to play, but then is all about cuddle time with her foster mom. When the bigger dogs in her foster home start to play, Meg will often perch on her foster mom's shoulder to take it all in outside of the line of fire. Meg needs a home that will be safe for a pup her size with no small children or very large or rambunctious dogs that may drop her or step on her by accident. Meg's mother is only about 6 lbs, but this pup will not get that big. Meg would benefit from having a confident dog friend to help show her the ropes as she is still learning the ways of the world and building confidence. She should also go to a family that has time to socialize and teach her all the good stuff puppies need to know to be a well-balanced, happy member of the family pack. Meg is well-trained to pee pads. Meg is good with both dogs and cats. Because she is still so tiny Meg has not been spayed yet, but we'd like to go ahead and move her to her forever home so she can begin bonding with her new family. Jake's Wish will arrange for and cover the cost of her spay surgery when it is safe for Meg to take her "no more puppies" pledge.
