Ever since we've had Belle Starr she's been focused on being a great mama to her puppies. When she's not playing with or doting on them she loves being the center of her foster mom's attention. Belle loves everyone she meets and is especially excited when they offer her a lap to curl up in. Belle currently sleeps in a playpen with her puppies at night and is quiet as a mouse. She loves to play with her puppies but is fairly indifferent to the other dogs (and the cat) in her foster home. There's a good chance that she'll be more interested in playing with another dog once her mama duties are over. Belle is generally a very sweet, quiet and easy girl to have around (except when she's barking at the neighbor's dogs through the fence). That said, she is a bit rough around the edges when it comes to jumping up for attention and even doing a bit of coffee table surfing :-). Her foster mom thinks she'll calm down when she's got her own family with more time for playing and snuggling, but she will do best with folks who are up for helping her with some basic obedience training. At 2 yrs old and about 13 lbs Bella is portable, smart, and pretty as a peach!
