Sweet Betsy came to Jake's Wish from Ventura County during the height of the fires in that area. The Ventura shelter asked for help moving out some of their longer term adoptable dogs to make room for fire evacuees, and thankfully we were able to help. Betsy is 10-12 yrs old and has some sight and hearing loss but she doesn't seem to mind! She's the happiest, quietest, sweetest pup her foster parents have had the pleasure of fostering. Betsy loves to follow her foster mom around the house, cuddle up for snuggles on the sofa, and just generally hang out. Betsy's tail wags with joy every time she makes eye contact with her foster mom and when she knows it's supper time. She is being fostered with other dogs and we think she'd be totally fine with cats too. Betsy had a mammary mass removed after coming into our care and thankfully it was benign. Now she's ready to find a forever home that loves senior dogs and will appreciate her sweet and loving disposition.
