Bella is a 1 1/2 year old 75 pound full bred Rottweiler. We were asked to take her in when her family was unable to provide the home she needed. Bella had had no training before we took her in. She came to us with no manners, jumping on humans and pulling terribly on her leash. After a week or two in her foster home Bella sits when told, heels when walking and no longer jumps on her foster mom and dad. Bella has proven herself to be a very quick learner but will need a strong and experienced home to help her continue to be a well behaved dog. We will be looking for a home that has large breed experience and desire to continue formal training with Bella so can learn all the things she missed out on as a puppy. She is currently fostered with another Rottie whom she absolutely adores. Her canine foster sister is definitely her favorite thing in the entire world. Bella gets along with everyone she meets. She plays at the dog park with small and big dogs and even lets the little ones take charge and boss her around. Bella will just walk away or lay down so they can really get on her level. Once trained and obedient, Bella could easily go to dog friendly establishments or the office with mom or dad. She could also spend her days at a doggie daycare while you are at work if you can’t bring her with you. Bella is crate trained and potty trained to a doggie door in her foster home.
