This adorable masked face belongs to tiny little Mischa! Mischa is a 5 pound Chihuahua / Min Pin mix. She's 2 years old, spayed, and up to date on shots. Mischa came into the San Jose shelter as a stray, cold, scared, and confused. We couldn't bear to see her like that, so we sent a volunteer to spring her from the shelter on New Year's Eve. She became the very last Jake's Wish dog of 2014 by the skin of her teeth! Needless to say, Mischa started 2015 off on the right paw. She landed in a fabulous foster home where she's working on potty training, learning to trust humans, and getting used to leash walking. Mischa absolutely adores her canine foster siblings! They play chase, wrestle, snuggle, and keep away with their favorite stuffed toys. Mischa would be ok as an only dog, but she'd really enjoy having another small dog to play with each day. Mischa loves going for walks. Although she's tiny, she can really move! This girl zips around the house like nobody's business and finds great amusement in spinning circles around her foster siblings. Mischa's most favorite thing in the world is snuggling with her person. She bonds strongly to one person in the house. Unfortunately, Mischa does not care for men (this only applies to humans - Mischa likes male and female dogs just fine). She has a lot of fearfulness and needs to go to a home comprised only of females so that she'll feel safe. What can we say, she's a girly girl! Look closely - you'll see her face mask is in the shape of a heart. Mischa figuratively wears her heart on her sleeve [ahem, face]! She's delicate, dainty, and just craves love and kindness. If you're looking for a small, gentle, sweet-hearted companion, look no further. Mischa is the girl of your dreams!
