Lucy is a 3-to-4 year old pitbull with a heart of gold. She is a goofball who loves to be with her people and to play with her doggie friends. She just gets along with everyone! She would be happiest in a house with another dog, as she loves to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes (although we'd recommend putting her in a house with a dog close to her size since she tends to engage in highly physical play). She has done great at doggie day care, where she has made lots of new friends, and she even does great with her foster brother (this is truly an impressive feat since he can be a bit of a pill). Beyond being a sweetie who just wants to cuddle up with you, she is a goofball who will make you laugh. Whether she's clumsily falling off the couch, intently watching TV, or flopping down to roll around on a yard in the middle of your walk, her antics have kept her foster parents highly amused. Around the house, she has been excellent: she has only one or two potty accidents and hasn't damaged anything around the house. She doesn't cry when it's bedtime and is happy to go in her room and sleep. She even ignores the chickens! It is clear why she was a volunteer favorite at the shelter.
