Meet Lily! She's a 1-2 year old Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel mix who is as sweet as pie! She was originally found in Modesto in a hole in the ground with her puppies. Once her puppies were adopted she was transferred into our care to await the forever home she deserves.

 

Lily's favorite activities include belly rubs, trail walks, chasing flying insects, napping, and staring deeply into your eyes while she waits for you to give her a snack! She is a sensitive soul who is shy around new people and dogs, but her confidence is slowly building. She looks to her person for comfort, where she seeks approval by giving LOTS of face kisses. Lily will need a patient family who is willing to give her time to warm up in new situations and in return they will receive so much love!

 

We think Lily could live with another small, confident dog who is easy-going. Because of her calm nature, we're looking for a quiet home with teenage kids if any. She's working on her motion sickness in the car, but we think it's getting a little better!
