Meet Lulu! She's a sensitive 4-5 month old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is looking for her forever home!
Lulu is currently what we would call "indoorsy." The sights and sounds of the great outdoors can be scary for a 7 pound pup! Lulu didn’t get all the socialization she deserved when she was born, but we think a patient and understanding family will help her develop confidence to handle the big world!
When Lulu is comfortable indoors she is obsessed with her person and wants to snuggle under the blankets. She's learned "sit" and "come," does well with correction, and is eager to please. She exclusively uses a potty pad and sleeps well through the night in her crate.
Because she's still working on her insecurities, and tends to hide or growl when uncomfortable, we think she'll do best in a home with teenage kids if any. With proper introductions and time, we think she could live with another small dog or a dog-savvy cat.
