This beautiful terrier mix girl is ready to write the last chapter in journey which is finding her own forever home. Kali has been with us for a few months while she learns how to be a dog again. This sweet girl was in the shelter hiding under the bed and covers, shaking like crazy. When we saw her we knew she needed our help and lucky for Kali our foster that specializes in the scared dogs was ready to take her in. It took quite while for Kali to come out of her crate and interact with her people. She bonded almost immediately to the other dog in the house and seemed to find strength when she had her canine side kick with her. She LOVES other dogs so much that we will be looking for a home that has another playful dog in it to help her feel secure and acclimate with her new family. Kali will need a patient family that is willing to allow her time to decompress. We did start her on Prozac a few months ago which has helped her tremendously. She has gone on weekend vacations to Tahoe and even visits a few local pubs with her foster family and did well at the groomers. She has shown no signs of aggression but given her shyness we do feel an adult only home would be best. Kali weighs about 13 pounds and is 1 year old. She is ready to join you on all your adventures.
