Mama Bear came to Jake's Wish as a pregnant senior girl looking for a quiet place to have her puppies. Now that her mama duties are done, she's ready for her happy-ever-after and we intend to find it for her. This sweet gal has loads of personality and keeps her foster mom giggling with her antics, particularly her love of an old dirty tennis ball that she takes with her everywhere. Mama is a very social gal who is happy to meet new people and enjoys her walks. She is good with other similar sized dogs (and watches them closely to learn good stuff) and lives with a dog-savvy cat in her foster home. Mama Bear is very cuddly and loves nothing more than to be close to her person. She can get a tiny bit jealous when it comes to sharing but it's manageable. Mama has done fine with children she's met when out and about but hasn't had any one-on-one experience with them. Since she's an older gal of about 7 yrs old, we think she'd be ok with older, respectful kids who know how to interact well with a pet.
