Brooklyn came to Jake's Wish with her 7 tiny puppies, but now that most of her puppies have flown the coop, this mama bear is ready for her forever home too. 10 lb, 4 yr old Brooklyn has great energy and LOVES to play with the other dogs in her foster home. When she's not roughhousing with them, she's running zoomies through the house, playing with toys, and will get up on her hind legs and dance when she sees her foster family. When playtime is done, Brooklyn loves snuggling. She's what we call a "velcro dog" – all laps, all the time – and can be a little grumpy about sharing. While we believe that behavior can be managed if a family is willing to work on it, she'd surely be very happy as your one-and-only pup. Brooklyn doesn't have much experience out in the big old world – home is definitely where here heart is – and she'll do best in a quiet home with a nice, sunny back yard without a bunch of new people coming and going.
