We were asked to come to the San Martin Shelter when it was apparent that someone was dumping older poodles in parks in the area. These two girls are so sweet we could not believe that someone would leave them in a park to fend for themselves. A foster home was found and these two were saved and are now looking for there for their forever home. Lavern is the redhead and she has a little more spunk to her. You would never think her guesstimated age is 10 years old. She loves to run and play with her foster canine siblings and loves to run leash free on the beach. Shirley is the blonde and she's a bit more reserved. We think these two are either mother and daughter (Shirley being the mom) or perhaps sisters. Whatever may be the case they are bonded and do very well together so we would love to find a home that has room for both. After a short walk or play time with their foster sibling they are ready for lap time with their people. They can sit for hours while mom or dad are watching a lawn order marathon or working from their computer. They are not much of a barker. So would do well in most any type of home. Both girls clearly had no poor care as all their teeth had to be removed. Don't let that scare you because they eat just fine but will need canned food. Each girl weighs about 8 pounds so could easily be your carry-on in an airplane or accompany you to all the dog friendly establishments in your neighborhood. We are waiving one adoption fee in hopes that these two can be a place together.
