Galante was returned through no fault of his own - the adopters realized they did not have time for a puppy, He's available for adoption - 5 months old - great with kids - will be about 30 pounds full grown.
Are Carmel Valley litter puppies were rescued when we were called to come get a very pregnant mother that was found wandering the streets and brought to the shelter in San Martin. Mommy gave birth to eight Beautiful and healthy puppies on Christmas eve at about 11 o'clock at night. There were four boys and four girls each named after their foster mom's favorite wineries in Carmel. The pups were handled since the very minute they were born and have been raised around other dogs from 5 pounds to 70 pounds. Their favorite of course is the 70 pound lab because they can chew on his ankles. Currently they are living with a family that has five children so these guys are getting well socialized and are very kid friendly. They were weaned from their mother at about seven weeks because mommy was done feeding eight puppies. They have now acclimated to dry kibble and eat well. They are even getting the hang of using the potty pads. Mommy(picture shown) looks like a 20 pound Labrador and acts like one too. Her favorite is a good old game of fetch.We have no idea what dad was but the puppies approximate adult weight will be 18 to 20 pounds.
