We were asked to take Bean in when a family surrendered him and his 4 other siblings to the shelter. His siblings were adopted right away and Bean was the last puppy left. We cannot figure out how this little one was not the first one chosen because he is a PERFECT little puppy. He currently lives with teenage kids and another dog that he loves to play with. The two dogs are usually found playing a game of chase together or when playtime is done they are snuggled up with each other on the couch next to their humans. Bean is small enough to hang out in a doggie purse and go just about everywhere you go. Because of his young age he cannot go to dog parks, dog stores or other areas that unknown dogs have been. Once he has all of his vaccines though he will be a hit at the dog parks or doggie daycares. Bean hasn’t met a stranger yet. He loves his people and will do great if there is another dog in the home. Applicants will need to be ready for puppy antics, potty training, continued socialization and maybe a few sleepless nights as Bean acclimates to his new home. It will be a lot of work in the beginning but Bean will pay you back for all your handwork with tons of puppy kisses. He is crate trained and is working on potty training in his foster home.
