Coco is 1-2 yrs old and weighs about 18 pounds. We were called by the shelter to come out and assess Coco because she was out of time. She was so shy and scared that she was being passed up by other rescues and adopters. It was true, Coco is very shy and was found shaking in the corner and refusing to walk on a leash. We knew this little girl needed us so we found a foster home that was prepared to work with Coco and help socialize her and build her trust in humans again. Fast forward a month and Coco finds herself ready for a forever home. She currently lives with another dog that is 3 times her size that she adores and snuggles up to. She is still shy and unsure of new things and people so her perfect forever home would be one that is willing to continue working with and socializing her. She would probably do best with a canine sibling in the house that she can also learn from. Coco is now walking on leash, follows her foster mom allover the house, loves to sit next to you on the couch while you are watching TV or working on your computer. She is crate trained and hasn't had an accident in her foster home in weeks. Coco has so much love to give. She is a beautiful girl that is a perfect size for an apartment or condo.
