Buddy was found by one of our volunteers roaming the streets. He was matted and covered in fleas. He is chipped but when the owner was called they said they did not want the dog because they had a baby and couldn't care for Buddy. They told our volunteer to keep the dog or bring him to the shelter. Now Buddy is looking for the forever home he deserves. He is a friendly little guy who will lay by your side all day for a belly rub. He was quite cautious and reserved when he was first found but has definitely come out of his shell and is quite a character. If you have treats in your hand you will be his best friend. Buddy knows sit, shake and is learning the down command in his foster home. He currently lives with other dogs and does just fine with them. He doesn't engage in play with them rather he just coexists with them. He is an option to be an only dog or join a home with a dog in it. Due to his shyness he is not an option for kids under 10 years old. If you are looking for a walking partner and lap dog Buddy may just be your guy!
