Koda is a big bear of a dog. He is friendly with everyone he has met including dogs and people. He is a perfect specimen of the two dogs he is mixed with. At 6 months he is already a big boy and if we were to guess his adult weight by his paw size we would say he will be at least a 65-70 pound dog. He is all puppy though so everything he can get his big paws on goes directly in his mouth so applicants will have to demonstrate knowledge on puppy care and training. Applicants will need to agree to formal puppy training with Koda and may be asked to provide an actual registration in an approved training class. Koda is a wonderful puppy that is well on his way to becoming a perfect adult which is why we require training classes in our large breed puppies. To often people fall in love with the cute face but neglect to train the dog properly which results in a poorly behaved, under socialized 70 pound dog that gets returned to the rescue where we have to do intense training to be able to find a new suitable home Koda's perfect home would be an active home that loves hiking, camping, running.He will require more than just a walk or two each day. If given the exercise he requires Koda will be your best friend and will become a very good boy. Koda is crate trained and does well in his crate.
