Barney is the latest dog to join the Jake’s Wish Family. This big boy is about 16 weeks old and already 20 pounds. We expect his adult weight to be in the 65-70 pound range. He is Lab/Cattle Dog mix and is showing us that he would be a great dog for someone that has livestock, chickens or other animals. Barney currently lives with other dogs from 20-150 pounds and loves them all. He follows his foster mom up to check on the goats and chickens everyday and doesn’t seem bothered by them at all. He has been known to chase the cats but seems like he could be taught to leave them alone and probably even love them. Barney is an active pooch so he will need a family that loves to be outdoors and be active with him. Puppy classes will be beneficial to keep him in track with being a perfect adult.
