The puppies of our Aviator Litter are ready for their forever homes!

Boys: Jimmy Doolittle, Chuck Yeager, Eddie Rickenbacker
Girls: Bessie Coleman, Louise Thaden

Mama Amelia Earhart was found as a very pregnant stray at a construction site. After a few short days in foster care she gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies on 10/19/20. Mom and pups have been been well-socialized and showered with love in their foster home, where they get to play with other dogs, hang out with kids, and get exposed to all of the sights and sounds of a busy household.

DNA tests performed on 2 of the pups reveal they are primarily Chihuahua, Poodle, Pomeranian mixes with a sprinkling of other breeds. Based on mom's weight, we expect they will be around 20 pounds once full grown.

Ready to submit an adoption application? Even if you're interested in more than one puppy in a given litter, please only apply for one puppy. Jake's Wish adoption counselors will evaluate all applicants for the entire litter. Applicants who appear to be the best match for the puppies are then interviewed, and if chosen, receive a number. Depending on the number of puppies in a litter, family #1 gets first pick, family #2 gets second pick, and so on.
