Cocoa has graduated and is ready for her forever home! This 4 year old, 27 pound French Bulldog was surrendered to our emergency vet after she became paralyzed from a herniated disk. Immediate surgery was required and after a month of strict crate rest and proper rehab she has not only recovered but she is walking and playing with the dogs in her foster home like nothing ever happened. Her surgeon has given the green light for her to pack her bags and move on to her very own home.

Cocoa is as sweet as the chocolate she is named after. She loves a good squeaky toy, bully stick and a warm blanket while she curls up with you on the couch for a night of TV watching.  Rub her ears and you have an instant BFF. She does great with the other pups in her foster home so we think she would love another pup sibling to hang out with but could also be happy as your one and only. She is not a fan of the feline friends so will need to have a cat free home. Dog saavy kids over the age of 7 would be ok. She is fully potty trained and crate trained.

Due to her stocky/compact “Frenchie” body type her future family will need to make sure accommodations have been made to protect her from damaging her back again like stairs or ramps to get on/off the couch or bed if that is allowed. Cocoa loves the car so would be a great road trip side kick while you make the best of the social distancing protocols and tour the country by car.
