Luna was found as a stray. Her owners were notified but they chose not to come get her. We were notified because she was adopted out 6 years ago through Jake’s Wish (don’t worry the adopters are on the NEVER adopt to list). Thank goodness for microchips because we were notified and went to get her. Poor Lina looked like she had been out for sometime and has severe flea allergies that had left her with little fur on her back and butt. Luckily our “skin specialist” foster home was open and was able to take her in. Luna is on the mend and ready to find her forever home. Her hair is growing back but it will take months for her coat to be full and healthy. No reason for her to stay in foster care though so we are hoping to find a family that is home more than not. Luna loves her people and prefers to be with them always. She lives with other dogs her size and does fine. She does like to bark for attention or to let you know someone is at the door or walked by the house so apartment dwellers may not be the best fit. At about 8-10years old she is still active and would love to join you on your nightly neighborhood walk and then like nothing more to curl up nest to you for some serious TV watching. Luna is about 7-8 pounds so can join you on pretty much any excursion you take. Send us an application if you would like to meet her.  Luna’s adoption fee is $400.00.
