These 7 beauties and their mom were brought to the shelter as “Stray”. We all know the shelter is not a place for puppies and can be very scary for a mom dog trying to care for her pups so we were asked if we could help out! Fosters were found quickly and now all 7 pups and mom are enjoying the comforts of a home and a warm bed. Best guesstimate on breed is Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd. We think their adult weight will be in the 50 pound range. We have 5 boys and 2 girls and have Named them the “Talk Show Host” litter. Mom of course is Oprah! These pups live with other dogs and they do great. At just 8 weeks old they are learning how to play with other dogs and experience all the things like grass, sirens, men, woman, birds, etc to assure they are well socialized so they can become brave pups! We will be looking for homes that have some large dog experience that plan to do structured training and continued socialization via puppy classes and safe play dates. If you are looking for the perfect sized hiking, camping, running and all around side kick these babes may be a good fit for you. Active homes are a plus!
