Meet Mitzi!   Mitzi was a stray pup turned into the shelter.   Once workers saw how very shy and shut down she was they reached out to us for help and we immediately said yes!   After giving her a couple days to decompress she started to come out of her shell.   We believe she is a Havanese poodle type mix.   She is about 6 months old.   She is going to need an adopter that has patience and will give her time to feel comfortable and trust her new humans.   But once she does she loves hard and will be your best buddy.   Given her shyness she is going to be best with a home without young kids.   She LOVES other dogs and can spend hours running around and playing with them and her toys.   She also loves playing in her water bowl!! Her new home should have another dog to help her continue to build her confidence.   If you feel like Mitzi is the right pup for you please fill out an application.
