This handsome boy came to us when his owner fell ill and had to focus on his health so could not care for a active pup. Kody is a Havanese/Chihuahua Mix. If the mom and dad dogs weren't confirmed we would have thought he was some type of spaniel. What we do know is he is a looker and turns the head of many people asking what kind of dog he is with his good looks.  Unfortunately Kody did not get a ton of socialization in the first few informative months of his life so he is a bit shy and reactive at first meet. Once given the chance to figure out that you are friend not foe he is a complete love bug that will smother you with kisses and lay in your arms cuddling for hours. With his foster family he was a ball of love after 2 days so we know he will be just fine with a family that understands his need for space the first few days. Kody is pretty high energy and LOVES other dogs. A home with another playful dog in it would be preferred but if the perfect, active family comes around that wants a hiking, camping, paddle boarding buddy we think Kody would be just as happy. At about 5 months now and 15 pounds we expect this little guy to be around 20 ish pounds full grown which makes him the perfect portable pooch to go just about anywhere with you including the airplane as your carry on if you choose to hop on a plane and see our beautiful country with him. Kody is crate trained and actually likes his crate. He is also potty trained in his foster home which has doggie door access to the back yard. Because of his shyness at first if there are kids in the home they will need to be over the 12 year range and know how to properly approach and treat a dog.
